Breakfast, was garden strawberries, scrambled eggs with goat cheese from CKC and garden tarragon. I went to the Food and Wine Foundation Sunday Fair at the Salt Lick Vineyard in Driftwood. I really enjoyed the drive out there, the bluebonnets were stunning. The event was a mud pit, quite honestly. I have volunteered for this event in the past, and attended it for years. This year, I was disappointed in the lack of food, although I did enjoy a the cooking demonstration by David Bull. I grazed on what little food was available, some popcorn, and David Bull’s quail with corn fondue, was great.
Dinner was wine and cheese with friends after the event.
