JJ at Shady Hollow Farm has some of the best transplants I’ve purchased for the garden this season.  I bought some container tomato plants a couple months ago that have all set fruit, even in this heat.   They are outperforming plants I started from seed, and plants I’ve purchased at several local nurseries.  He had 6 varieties of basil last week at the Triangle Farmer’s Market.  The sweet basil I purchased from him is huge, and in need of harvesting.  The eggplant and peppers from his place are all producing and look really good and healthy.  Find him at the Triangle market on Wednesday evening, the Brushy Creek and Pflugerville markets on Saturday and Brushy Creek on Tuesday night.
