Cucumbers and Squash May 28, 2009

I planted several cucumber transplants about a month ago, as well as yellow squash. The cucumber vines are making their way down the length of my 20 garden and are covered with cucumbers. I’m having the same problems with squash not being pollinated as I had last year. It makes squash, but they don’t mature. The bee attracting lemon and lime trees are positioned nearby, but I guess I’m not meant to grow squash. I’ve tried hand pollinating, but it didn’t work, and made me feel just a little dirty.:-)
